To set the record straight: I have signed oil and gas leases. If you will notice from the close up picture of the last lease I signed in 2005 and if you referred to the legal descriptions attached to the lease you will see it was for just over 157 acres. The difference between a comma and a period are significant. The correct acreage is 1000 times less than the amount being portrayed. This same year over 200 other property owners in the county also signed oil and gas leases. The lease was for five years and expired in 2010.
